Finding Value In Your Fitness Journey Part 1
To find value in your fitness, you first need to ask yourself, what it is that you value? and how to you evaluate yourself. Now, how you evaluate your value has something to do with whatever it is that you value in your life. For example, most people value their career.
This subject has a lot of complexities so just be patient with me as we wrestle with this subject. Now value is determined by sacrifice. when there is no sacrifice there is no value. I say this because the value is dependent upon what will be given up to get whatever it is that person wants.
You can't come to the gym Monday thru Friday and have a horrible nutrition intake on the weekend and expect results. And I understand that life happens, it happens to everyone. But, when this is a repeated habit you are telling yourself that you are only worth as much as you are willing to sacrifice for your health and fitness goals.
How much will you pay to reach your goals? Remember, it takes 90 days to make a habit into a lifestyle. You don't have to get it all right overnight but to start off small what can you sacrifice to take the right step forward. Is it taking time away from Netflix and cooking your own dinner. If you are someone that already eats healthy, then is it getting up at 6 a.m. and working out before work? What is it?
