High Protein Pancakes 😲 Paleo Style
These High Protein Pancakes will get their flavor from the natural sweetness from the berries and bananas. The original recipe calls for raspberries, but you can substitute any type of berry. Berries are an awesome choice for the Paleo Diet. They're high in antioxidants and add intense flavor and sweetness to any dish.
- Cooking spray (nonstick)
- 6 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 2 bananas mashed
- 1/3 cup of berries, mashed
- 2 tbsp. almond butter
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- Spray a skillet or griddle with cooking spray. In a bowl, mix the egg whites, bananas, berries, and almond butter until smooth.
- Pour batter into skillet, using 1/2 cup for each pancake. Cook 2-3 minutes before flipping the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Serve with a sprinkling of cinnamon and/or fresh fruit.
